As a Remote Software Product Owner, you will be the bridge between our business strategy and our development teams, ensuring that our products not only meet market demands but also exceed user expectations. Key Responsibilities
- Define, communicate, and maintain the product vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with overall business objectives.
- Translate product strategy into detailed requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Manage and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring a clear, concise, and well-understood list of items for the development team.
- Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, customers, and the development team, ensuring alignment and clear communication.
- Lead and participate in agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives) to ensure efficient delivery.
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and gather customer feedback to identify new product opportunities and enhancements.
- Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience.
- Monitor product performance, analyze data, and gather insights to inform future product iterations and improvements.
- Ensure products are delivered on time, within scope, and meet quality standards.
- Facilitate release planning and ensure readiness for product launches.
- Champion agile best practices and continuous improvement within the development lifecycle.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in software development (minimum 4 years).
- Solid understanding of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and user stories.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with product backlog management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Trello).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO) certification.
