Job Description
Are you a highly skilled, safety-conscious, and experienced Scaffolding Builder looking for your next significant challenge? Masimba Holdings Limited, a leading infrastructure and construction group with a strong presence across Zimbabwe, is seeking an adept individual to join our dedicated team in Kadoma, Mashonaland West Province. This is a pivotal full-time role where your expertise will directly contribute to the safe and efficient execution of our diverse construction and civil engineering projects, ranging from commercial buildings to vital public infrastructure.
At Masimba Holdings, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality, sustainable infrastructure solutions that empower communities, drive economic growth, and stand the test of time. Our unwavering commitment to safety, innovation, and operational excellence has firmly established us as a trusted and respected name in the Zimbabwean construction industry. As a Scaffolding Builder, you will play an integral part of our project teams, primarily responsible for the precise and safe construction and dismantling of various scaffolding systems. Your daily tasks will involve the meticulous erection of robust and secure scaffolding structures, ensuring they provide safe working platforms for our engineers, technicians, and other skilled tradespeople operating at various heights.
You will be expected to conduct thorough pre-use inspections of all scaffolding components, identify any potential defects or hazards, and strictly ensure that all structures meet both our exacting internal quality standards and relevant national and international safety regulations (e.g., OSHA, local Zimbabwean construction safety codes) before being declared fit for use. This role demands a keen eye for detail, a comprehensive understanding of different scaffolding systems – including tube and coupler, system scaffolding, and mobile towers – and the requisite physical stamina and dexterity for manual work in an often challenging outdoor construction environment. Collaboration is absolutely key; you will work closely with site managers, safety officers, foremen, and other tradespeople to ensure seamless project progression, adherence to tight timelines, and the maintenance of a high-standard, accident-free workplace. We are searching for an individual who not only excels at building structures but also actively contributes to fostering a proactive culture of safety and precision on every site. If you are passionate about contributing to significant national infrastructure projects and thrive in a challenging yet highly rewarding environment where your skills are valued, we strongly encourage you to apply and become a vital part of the Masimba Holdings family.
