Career.zycto is seeking an exceptionally talented and visionary Fashion Designer specializing in Custom Apparel to join our dynamic team in Al Twar 2, Dubai. As a Fashion Designer for Custom Apparel, you will be the heart of our client’s journey, from initial concept to the final exquisite garment. You will work closely with discerning clients, interpreting their desires, translating inspirations into tangible designs, and overseeing the entire production process to ensure unparalleled quality and fit. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth client consultations to understand their vision, preferences, and occasion.
- Develop original design concepts, sketches, and digital illustrations for bespoke garments.
- Source and select appropriate fabrics, embellishments, and materials, ensuring alignment with design aesthetics and client budget.
- Create detailed technical specifications and mood boards for production.
- Oversee pattern making, garment construction, and fitting sessions to ensure precision and client satisfaction.
- Collaborate closely with our atelier team, including tailors and seamstresses, throughout the production lifecycle.
- Stay abreast of global fashion trends, fabric innovations, and luxury market demands.
- Manage multiple custom orders simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and quality standards.
- Maintain an organized system for design documentation and client communication.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in fashion design software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CLO3D/Browzwear is a plus).
- Exceptional hand-sketching and illustration abilities.
- Strong understanding of garment construction, tailoring, and textile properties.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction.
- Ability to translate abstract ideas into concrete design concepts.
- A compelling portfolio showcasing custom apparel design work.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Fluency in English (Arabic is a plus).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of proven experience in custom apparel design, bespoke tailoring, or haute couture.
