Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of catering events, including tables, chairs, decorations, and food service stations.
- Prepare and portion food items under the guidance of chefs and supervisors, adhering to strict hygiene and safety standards.
- Transport food, beverages, and catering equipment safely and efficiently to event locations.
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, kitchen equipment, and dining spaces before, during, and after events.
- Replenish food, beverages, and supplies as needed during events.
- Handle guest inquiries and requests with a positive and helpful attitude.
- Assist with washing dishes, utensils, and other catering equipment.
Required Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene principles.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items (up to 25 lbs), and move quickly.
