Key Responsibilities

  • Assist experienced carpenters and framers with the installation of ceiling grids and framing components.
  • Measure, cut, and prepare materials such as metal studs, drywall, and insulation under direct supervision.
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials and tools to and from work areas.
  • Maintain a clean and organized worksite, including sweeping, debris removal, and proper tool storage.
  • Operate basic hand and power tools safely after receiving proper training and instruction.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and the team.
  • Perform general labour duties as assigned, supporting various aspects of construction projects.
  • Learn and apply best practices for ceiling framing, including understanding blueprints and technical specifications.

Required Skills

  • Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and techniques.
  • Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials (up to 25 kg) and perform repetitive tasks.
