Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Power BI Dashboard Designer to join our dynamic and forward-thinking team. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports that meet business requirements.
- Connect to various data sources, perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) using Power Query.
- Develop robust and efficient data models within Power BI Desktop, including defining relationships and creating calculated columns/measures using DAX.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements, translating them into technical specifications for reporting solutions.
- Optimize Power BI reports for performance, scalability, and user experience.
- Implement best practices for data visualization, report design, and dashboard layout.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all reporting solutions.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users on Power BI functionalities and reports.
- Stay updated with the latest Power BI features and best practices to continually enhance reporting capabilities.
Required Skills
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience designing and developing Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Strong proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power Query, and Power BI Service.
- Expertise in Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) for creating complex measures and calculated columns.
- Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Proven experience with data modeling concepts and dimensional modeling.
- Excellent understanding of data visualization principles and best practices.
- Ability to gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate certification.
- Experience with other data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, QlikView).
