Job Description
Are you an experienced and results-driven IT professional passionate about streamlining operations and enhancing efficiency? CBZ Bank is seeking a talented Senior IT Process Analyst to join our dynamic team in Murambinda, Manicaland Province. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in optimizing our IT processes, ensuring they are robust, efficient, and aligned with both business objectives and stringent regulatory requirements inherent in the financial services sector.
As a Senior IT Process Analyst, you will be a key contributor to our continuous improvement initiatives, working closely with various IT departments, business units, and stakeholders to identify areas for enhancement. Your expertise will drive the analysis, design, and implementation of new and improved IT processes across the bank’s operations, with a particular focus on supporting our regional infrastructure and digital transformation efforts. This role demands a keen analytical mind, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record in process optimization within a complex IT environment, preferably within the financial services sector.
You will lead efforts to document existing ‘as-is’ processes, meticulously identify bottlenecks, redundancies, and inefficiencies, and then architect ‘to-be’ processes that leverage best practices and technological advancements. This includes developing detailed process maps, workflow diagrams, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Furthermore, you will play a critical role in evaluating the impact of proposed changes, preparing comprehensive business cases, and supporting the change management process to ensure smooth adoption across the organization.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for ensuring that all IT processes adhere to industry standards, internal policies, and relevant regulatory frameworks, including those specific to the financial sector in Zimbabwe. You will conduct regular process audits, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and present findings and recommendations to senior management. Your strategic insights will guide the bank in adopting innovative solutions that enhance service delivery, mitigate risks, and foster a culture of operational excellence. This is an exciting opportunity to make a tangible impact on the bank’s operational efficiency and contribute to our ongoing success and growth in the Murambinda region and beyond.
