Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation, ensuring consistent quality and adherence to recipes.
  • Develop and implement innovative menu items, specials, and seasonal offerings that reflect market trends and guest preferences.
  • Manage inventory, control food costs, minimize waste, and ensure proper stock rotation.
  • Lead, mentor, and train kitchen staff, fostering a positive, collaborative, and high-performance team environment.
  • Maintain impeccable standards of hygiene, sanitation, and food safety in compliance with local regulations and company policies.
  • Collaborate with the management team on budgeting, staffing, and strategic planning for kitchen efficiency and growth.
  • Monitor and manage kitchen equipment maintenance and repair schedules.
  • Ensure timely execution of all orders during service periods, maintaining a smooth workflow.
  • Handle guest feedback and special dietary requests professionally and efficiently.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a Chef or Senior Cook in a reputable restaurant or hospitality establishment.
  • Exceptional culinary skills with a diverse knowledge of international and local cuisines.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent understanding of food safety, hygiene regulations, and kitchen best practices.
  • Proficiency in menu development, costing, and inventory management.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Creativity and a passion for culinary innovation.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications
