Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic financial forecasts, ensuring accuracy and alignment with strategic objectives.
- Conduct thorough variance analysis between actual results and budget/forecast, providing clear explanations for deviations and identifying key performance drivers.
- Develop and maintain robust financial models to support strategic planning, scenario analysis, and business case evaluations.
- Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for management, highlighting key trends, insights, and recommendations.
- Collaborate effectively with various departments to gather financial data, understand business drivers, and support their financial needs.
- Support ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as required by senior FP&A team members, contributing to data-driven decisions.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all financial reporting and analysis, maintaining high standards of quality.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (minimum 2 years) in a finance or analytical role, preferably within Financial Planning & Analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex financial modeling, pivot tables, and advanced formulas.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting complex financial information clearly and concisely.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively in a remote environment, demonstrating strong time management.
- Solid understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and financial performance metrics.
Preferred Qualifications
- Part-qualification in a recognized accounting qualification (e.g., CIMA, ACCA, ACA).
