Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily inspections of the hotel premises, including guest rooms, common areas, and exterior grounds, to identify maintenance needs.
- Execute minor repairs in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general building structures.
- Implement and manage preventative maintenance schedules for all hotel equipment and facilities.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and guests, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
- Oversee and manage waste disposal and recycling processes.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of all maintenance areas, storage rooms, and equipment.
- Coordinate with and monitor external contractors for specialized repairs and services (e.g., HVAC, elevators, pest control).
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
- Monitor security systems and report any suspicious activities or breaches to management.
- Assist with setting up and dismantling equipment for events and functions as required.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in building maintenance or a similar caretaker role, preferably within a hospitality setting.
