Key Responsibilities
- Assist licensed pharmacists with dispensing prescription medications, including retrieving, counting, pouring, weighing, measuring, and mixing medications.
- Manage pharmacy inventory, including receiving, unpacking, and stocking medications and supplies, and monitoring expiry dates.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing patient inquiries, and ensuring a positive experience at the pharmacy counter.
- Process patient transactions, handle cash and credit card payments, and maintain accurate records.
- Prepare medication labels and packaging, ensuring accuracy and adherence to safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe pharmacy environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, record-keeping, and maintaining patient profiles.
- Communicate effectively with pharmacists, other healthcare professionals, and patients to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Adhere strictly to all pharmaceutical laws, regulations, and company policies.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably within a healthcare setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centric approach.
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
