Career.zycto is actively seeking highly motivated and results-driven Insurance Agents to join our dynamic team, focusing on both sales and claims management in Havendale, St. Andrew. Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and develop new client leads through networking, referrals, and other sales strategies within the Havendale and broader St. Andrew area.
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand client requirements and recommend appropriate insurance products (e.g., life, health, property, motor, commercial).
  • Present, explain, and sell various insurance policies, clearly articulating terms, benefits, and coverage details to prospective and existing clients.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to policy issuance, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and company procedures.
  • Assist clients with policy reviews, renewals, and modifications as their needs evolve, providing expert advice and service.
  • Guide clients through the claims process, providing clear instructions, collecting necessary documentation, and liaising with adjusters and underwriters to ensure timely resolution.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of client interactions, sales activities, and claims statuses using CRM software and other internal systems.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, new products, and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge and provide the best solutions.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and performance metrics set by the company.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships through exceptional service, regular follow-ups, and a client-centric approach.

Required Skills

  • Proven sales experience, preferably in insurance or financial services.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Goal-oriented with a strong drive to achieve sales targets and a resilient attitude.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM software.
  • Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation for client meetings and field work.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Tertiary education (Associate's or Bachelor's degree) in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
  • Prior experience specifically in insurance sales and/or claims processing in Jamaica.
  • Existing network of contacts within the Havendale, St. Andrew community and surrounding areas.
  • Possession of relevant insurance licenses/certifications in Jamaica (e.g., Financial Services License (FSL), Jamaica Institute of Insurance (JII) certifications).
