Key Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance cameras (CCTV) and alarm systems meticulously to detect and report any suspicious activities or breaches.
- Conduct regular patrols of the property, both internal and external, ensuring all security points are secured.
- Respond promptly and effectively to alarms, emergency calls, and security incidents, following established protocols.
- Control access to the premises, verifying credentials of visitors and contractors.
- Maintain detailed daily logs of incidents, observations, and activities during shifts.
- Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
- Enforce company security policies and procedures consistently.
- Provide clear and concise incident reports, escalating critical issues to management.
- Assist in the implementation and testing of new security technologies and systems.
- Ensure the proper functioning of all security equipment and report any malfunctions.
Required Skills
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a security role, preferably in property monitoring.
- Proficiency in operating CCTV and alarm systems.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to react calmly and decisively under pressure.
- Knowledge of basic security procedures and protocols.
- Valid SIRA license or eligibility to obtain one in Dubai.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience with access control systems and visitor management software.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
- Fluency in Arabic in addition to English.
- A diploma or certificate in security management or a related field.
