Your typical day will involve traveling to various client locations within Moshupa and the Southern District, assessing electrical issues, providing clear explanations and transparent solutions to homeowners, and executing repairs or installations efficiently and effectively. Key Responsibilities
- Perform electrical installations, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs in residential settings.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with national electrical codes (e.g., BOBS standards) and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with clients, explaining work to be performed, costs, and addressing any concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of all service calls, materials used, and hours worked.
- Operate and maintain company tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Provide recommendations for electrical upgrades and energy-efficient solutions to clients.
- Manage time and schedule effectively to meet service deadlines and client expectations.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with industry advancements.
Required Skills
- Certified Electrician with relevant trade qualifications.
- Minimum of 3 years of demonstrable experience in residential electrical services.
- Strong knowledge of national electrical codes and safety protocols.
- Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for electrical systems.
- Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment and tools.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
