Key Responsibilities
- Review and edit technical documents for clarity, accuracy, grammar, punctuation, and style.
- Ensure adherence to established style guides, terminology, and brand voice across all content.
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), engineers, product managers, and marketing teams to clarify technical concepts and resolve content issues.
- Verify technical accuracy and consistency of information across all documentation.
- Improve content flow, structure, and readability for diverse technical and non-technical target audiences.
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to content creators on writing best practices.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of internal style guides, glossaries, and content standards.
- Manage editing workflows and meet deadlines for multiple projects simultaneously.
- Perform quality assurance checks on published materials to ensure error-free delivery.
Required Skills
- Exceptional command of English grammar, punctuation, and style.
- Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in technical editing, proofreading, and content review.
- Strong understanding of technical concepts and ability to quickly grasp new technologies and complex information.
- Proficiency with established style guides (e.g., Chicago Manual of Style, Microsoft Manual of Style, or internal guides).
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) and version control tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with diverse teams.
