Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Chef and catering staff with basic food preparation tasks, including washing, peeling, chopping, and dicing ingredients.
- Maintain high standards of kitchen cleanliness and hygiene, including washing dishes, pots, pans, and utensils.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, equipment, and storage areas regularly.
- Assist with receiving, unpacking, and storing deliveries of food and catering supplies.
- Monitor stock levels and report any shortages to the catering supervisor.
- Ensure proper waste disposal and recycling protocols are followed.
- Help with setting up and clearing down dining areas for meals and special events.
- Adhere strictly to all food safety and health regulations.
- Support the team in any ad-hoc tasks to ensure smooth catering operations.
