Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare reagents, solutions, and media according to established protocols and specifications.
  • Perform routine laboratory tests, experiments, and analyses with accuracy and precision under supervision.
  • Operate, maintain, and calibrate various laboratory equipment and instruments, ensuring proper functionality and performance.
  • Record, organize, and analyze experimental data, maintaining detailed and accurate laboratory notebooks and digital records.
  • Assist senior researchers and scientists in experimental setup, execution, and troubleshooting.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all laboratory safety regulations, quality control standards, and company policies.
  • Manage laboratory inventory, including monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and proper storage of materials.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sterile working environment to prevent contamination and ensure efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot basic equipment malfunctions and report complex technical issues promptly to senior staff.
  • Participate actively in team meetings, contributing to scientific discussions and project planning.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in basic laboratory techniques (e.g., pipetting, microscopy, solution preparation, sterile technique).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in experimental work, data recording, and observation.
  • Ability to follow complex protocols, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and instructions meticulously.
  • Basic understanding of scientific principles in chemistry, biology, or a related scientific field.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
