Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Remote HR Training Partner to join our dynamic Human Resources team. This pivotal role will be instrumental in enhancing the capabilities of our global workforce by designing, developing, and delivering impactful HR-related training programs. As a Remote HR Training Partner, you will be responsible for identifying learning needs, creating engaging content for virtual delivery, and facilitating workshops on a wide array of topics, including leadership development, performance management, compliance, diversity & inclusion, and new HR systems or policies. You will collaborate closely with HR Business Partners, Learning & Development specialists, and various business stakeholders across different regions to ensure that our training initiatives are strategically aligned with HSBC’s business objectives and regulatory requirements. This role requires a blend of instructional design expertise, exceptional virtual facilitation skills, and a deep understanding of HR best practices in a complex, multinational environment. The ideal candidate will be adept at leveraging digital learning tools and platforms to create a cohesive and effective remote learning experience, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development within HSBC. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough training needs assessments in collaboration with HR Business Partners and business leaders to identify skill gaps and development opportunities.
  • Design, develop, and update comprehensive training modules, materials, and resources for virtual delivery, utilizing various instructional methodologies including e-learning, virtual workshops, and blended learning solutions.
  • Deliver engaging and interactive virtual training sessions on diverse HR topics, ensuring high participant engagement and learning outcomes.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through participant feedback, performance metrics, and business impact analysis, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Stay abreast of the latest HR trends, learning technologies, and instructional design best practices to ensure our training solutions remain innovative and relevant.
  • Collaborate with internal subject matter experts to gather content and ensure accuracy and relevance of training materials.
  • Manage and administer learning content within the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring accessibility and proper tracking of training completion.
  • Support the development and implementation of talent management and succession planning initiatives through targeted training programs.
  • Contribute to the broader HR strategy by providing insights on learning and development needs and solutions.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in HR training, Learning & Development, or organizational development within a large, complex organization.
  • Strong instructional design capabilities, with experience creating engaging and effective e-learning modules and virtual workshop content.
  • Exceptional virtual facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences remotely.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and regulatory requirements (e.g., employment law, compliance, D&I).
  • Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and virtual collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Webex).
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously from conception to completion.
  • Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional HR or Learning & Development certification (e.g., CIPD Level 5/7, CPTD, ATD certifications).
  • Experience working within the financial services industry or another highly regulated sector.
  • Master's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or a related field.
  • Experience with advanced e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate).
  • Demonstrated experience in coaching and mentoring, or leadership development program delivery.
