Career.zycto is seeking a highly motivated and empathetic Online Chat Support Specialist to join our thriving e-commerce platform. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide timely and accurate responses to customer inquiries through live chat, addressing questions related to products, orders, shipping, returns, and technical issues.
  • Proactively identify and resolve customer complaints, escalating complex problems to senior support staff when necessary.
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by delivering polite, professional, and efficient support.
  • Document all customer interactions and resolutions thoroughly in our CRM system.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including logistics and product teams, to ensure seamless customer experience.
  • Stay up-to-date with product knowledge, company policies, and e-commerce platform updates.
  • Contribute to the improvement of our knowledge base and FAQ sections based on common customer queries.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service role, preferably in an online chat or e-commerce environment.
  • Excellent written communication skills with impeccable grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
  • Proficiency in using live chat software and CRM systems.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to issue resolution.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
  • A reliable internet connection and a conducive home office environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with specific e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce).
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems like Zendesk or Freshdesk.
  • Basic technical troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to speak multiple languages (e.g., Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa) in addition to English.
