Key Responsibilities
- Execute test cases and test scripts as directed by QA leads.
- Document test results thoroughly and accurately, identifying discrepancies and anomalies.
- Report software defects and issues using established bug tracking tools.
- Assist in verifying bug fixes and ensuring resolution of identified problems.
- Collaborate with QA engineers and development teams to understand project requirements and testing scope.
- Contribute to the maintenance and organization of test documentation.
- Participate in team meetings and provide updates on testing progress.
- Learn and apply new testing techniques and tools under guidance.
- Perform basic sanity and regression testing as needed.
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) concepts.
- Proficiency with common office productivity software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace).
