Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional, personalized customer service, guiding clients through product selections and offering expert styling advice.
  • Actively engage with customers to understand their needs, preferences, and budget, ensuring a tailored shopping experience.
  • Achieve and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of current fashion trends, merchandise features, benefits, and inventory.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
  • Assist with merchandise displays, visual merchandising, and ensuring the store's aesthetic is appealing and tidy.
  • Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally and resolve issues promptly.
  • Participate in inventory management, including receiving new stock, tagging, and organizing the sales floor.
  • Build and nurture lasting relationships with clients, encouraging repeat business and loyalty.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure a cohesive and positive work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with all store policies and procedures, including security and health & safety regulations.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in retail sales, preferably in a fashion boutique or high-end retail environment.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • A passion for fashion and a keen understanding of current trends.
  • Proficiency in using POS systems and handling cash/card transactions.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in Fashion Merchandising, Retail Management, or a related field.
  • Fluency in multiple local languages (e.g., Yoruba, Igbo) in addition to English.
  • Experience with visual merchandising and store display setup.
  • Knowledge of luxury brands and fabrics.
