Key Responsibilities

  • Assist project managers and site supervisors with daily operational tasks and administrative duties.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including reports, logs, progress updates, and photographic records.
  • Coordinate logistics for site personnel, materials, and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and deployment.
  • Support site safety compliance by assisting with routine inspections, record-keeping, and incident reporting.
  • Facilitate seamless communication between the project office, site team, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Track project timelines and milestones, flagging potential delays or deviations from the schedule.
  • Manage basic inventory of site supplies and equipment, ensuring availability and proper storage.
  • Assist in preparing site meeting minutes and distributing them promptly to relevant parties.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence related to site operations and project communication.
  • Provide general administrative and operational support to ensure the site runs efficiently and effectively.

Required Skills

  • Proven organizational and exceptional time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities in English.
  • Ability to work effectively and remain composed in a fast-paced, dynamic construction or project environment.

  • Understanding of basic health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations on a construction or industrial site.
  • Local knowledge of Obiakpor, Port Harcourt, and its environs for efficient logistics and vendor coordination.
