Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload various construction materials from trucks, pallets, and other storage areas.
- Transport materials manually or using basic equipment (e.g., wheelbarrows, hand trucks) to designated areas on the construction site.
- Organize and maintain a tidy and safe storage area for construction materials.
- Assist skilled tradespeople and other workers as needed, including carrying tools or supplies.
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Inspect materials for damage or defects upon arrival and report any issues to supervisors.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the construction site.
- Operate basic hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
