Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular, visible patrols of designated areas within the Bremen Airport Area, both on foot and via vehicle.
- Monitor surveillance equipment and alarm systems, promptly responding to activated alarms or unusual occurrences.
- Enforce company security policies and procedures to ensure the safety of employees, visitors, and property.
- Inspect buildings, grounds, and equipment for signs of damage, tampering, or security breaches.
- Identify, report, and address security risks, hazards, and potential threats in a timely manner.
- Document observations, activities, and incidents thoroughly in daily reports and incident logs.
- Provide assistance to staff and visitors, including directions and emergency support as needed.
- Collaborate effectively with local law enforcement and emergency services during critical situations.
- Respond calmly and professionally to emergency situations, including medical emergencies, fires, and security threats.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a security guard or in a similar protective services role (minimum 12 months).
- Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to write clear and concise reports.
- Physical fitness to conduct patrols and stand for extended periods.
- Valid driver's license (Class B/3) for patrol duties.
- Proficiency in basic German (B1 level or higher) for effective communication.
