Career.zycto is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Analyst for a remote contract position based out of Sandy Springs, Georgia. In this role, you will be instrumental in helping our clients harness the power of their data to make informed strategic decisions. As a Remote Contract Data Analyst, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of data analysis – from gathering and cleaning complex datasets to developing compelling visualizations and presenting findings to stakeholders. You’ll work closely with client teams, understanding their business challenges, and translating those into analytical problems that can be solved with data. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, a strong aptitude for problem-solving, and the ability to communicate complex data narratives clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences. Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and validate large datasets from various sources to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Perform in-depth statistical analysis, identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within data.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to present key findings.
  • Translate complex data insights into clear, actionable recommendations for business stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with client teams to understand business requirements and define key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Design and implement A/B tests and other experiments to evaluate the impact of various initiatives.
  • Document methodologies, data sources, and analytical processes for future reference and reproducibility.
  • Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in data analytics.

Required Skills

  • 3+ years of professional experience in data analysis or a related field.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
  • Expertise in at least one programming language for data analysis (Python or R).
  • Strong experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, complex formulas).
  • Solid understanding of statistical analysis techniques and data modeling principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of explaining complex data to non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
  • Experience in consulting or working with diverse client portfolios.
  • Basic understanding of machine learning concepts and predictive modeling.
