Key Responsibilities
- Learn to greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products and making selections.
- Receive comprehensive training on various hardware products, tools, and materials to provide informed advice.
- Assist with inventory management, including stocking shelves, organizing displays, and maintaining accurate product counts.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems, process transactions accurately, and handle cash and card payments.
- Support the maintenance of a clean, organized, and safe retail environment, including general tidiness and safety checks.
- Learn and adhere to all store policies and procedures, including safety guidelines and customer service standards.
- Participate in merchandising efforts, helping to set up attractive product displays and promotions.
- Assist with receiving and unpacking new shipments, verifying contents against invoices.
- Develop a strong understanding of product applications and problem-solving techniques for common customer queries.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth store operations and a positive customer experience.
