Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine landscaping duties including mowing, trimming, edging, weeding, planting, and mulching of lawns, gardens, and flowerbeds.
- Operate and maintain a variety of landscaping equipment, including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and hand tools, ensuring their proper use and care.
- Monitor and maintain irrigation systems, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal plant health and water conservation.
- Identify and treat common plant diseases and pests, applying appropriate and safe horticultural solutions.
- Assist with the upkeep of pathways, outdoor furniture, and other resort amenities to ensure cleanliness and safety for guests.
- Collaborate with the resort management team to plan and implement seasonal landscaping projects and enhancements.
- Ensure all grounds work adheres to environmental regulations and resort's aesthetic standards.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a groundskeeper or in a similar landscaping role.
- Knowledge of various plant species, their care requirements, and common horticultural practices.
- Proficiency in operating landscape maintenance equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and aesthetics.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
