Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior video editors with various post-production tasks, including footage ingestion, organization, and basic assembly.
- Perform initial cuts, trims, and sequences of raw footage to create a coherent narrative flow.
- Synchronize audio and video tracks, ensuring optimal sound quality and clarity.
- Apply basic color correction and grading to improve visual aesthetics and consistency.
- Create and implement simple motion graphics, lower thirds, and text overlays as required by project briefs.
- Manage and organize media assets, ensuring proper labeling, storage, and archiving of project files.
- Prepare project files for review by team members and clients, incorporating feedback efficiently.
- Export final video content in various formats optimized for different digital platforms and distribution channels.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, software advancements, and editing techniques.
- Provide general administrative support to the production team as needed.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro.
- Basic understanding of video production and post-production workflows.
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
