Career.zycto is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Parcel Scanning Operator to join our fast-paced logistics team in Xai-Xai, Gaza Province. As a Parcel Scanning Operator, you will be a critical component of our operational efficiency, responsible for accurately processing incoming and outgoing parcels using advanced scanning technology. Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently operate parcel scanning equipment to accurately record and track all incoming and outgoing packages.
- Verify parcel information, including labels, destinations, and contents, against shipping manifests and system records.
- Identify and report any discrepancies, damages, or missing items immediately to supervisors.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe scanning station and immediate work area.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety regulations and operational procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with team members across different departments to ensure smooth workflow and problem resolution.
- Assist with the sorting, staging, and loading of parcels as required to support logistics operations.
- Perform routine checks and basic troubleshooting on scanning equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Required Skills
- Proven ability to operate scanning machinery and related equipment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in data entry and verification.
- Basic computer literacy for navigating tracking software and internal systems.
- Physical capability to lift, carry, and move parcels weighing up to 20kg repeatedly throughout a shift.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to thrive and maintain focus in a fast-paced, sometimes noisy, warehouse environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience (6-12 months) in a logistics, warehouse, or distribution center setting.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems or parcel tracking software.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic conversational knowledge of Portuguese.
