Key Responsibilities
- Assist chefs and kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks, including washing, peeling, chopping vegetables, and portioning ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen, dining areas, and dishwashing station.
- Wash and sterilize dishes, utensils, pots, and pans using dishwashers or by hand.
- Help with receiving, stocking, and organizing kitchen supplies and inventory.
- Ensure dining tables are clean, set up correctly, and ready for guests.
- Assist waitstaff with clearing tables, refilling water glasses, and general service support.
- Empty trash cans regularly and maintain waste disposal areas.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors immediately.
- Support the team in various tasks to ensure efficient restaurant operations.
