Key Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespersons with various tasks including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and masonry.
- Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment to and from work areas.
- Prepare work sites by cleaning, clearing debris, and setting up necessary equipment and safety barriers.
- Operate basic hand and power tools safely and efficiently (e.g., drills, grinders, pressure washers).
- Perform general clean-up and maintenance duties on job sites to ensure a safe and organized environment.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Support trenching, digging, and excavation activities as required.
- Participate in manual labour tasks such as lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling heavy objects.
- Adhere to project schedules and assist in meeting deadlines effectively.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth project flow.
