Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the loading and unloading of raw rice paddy, processed rice, and other materials using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Support machine operators in monitoring equipment, cleaning machinery, and ensuring smooth operation of the milling process.
- Carry out general cleaning and housekeeping duties within the mill premises, maintaining a high standard of hygiene and organization.
- Assist with packaging and bagging of processed rice, ensuring proper labeling and stacking for storage and distribution.
- Perform quality checks on rice grains, identifying and reporting any anomalies or defects to supervisors.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Transport materials and products within the mill using hand trucks or other designated equipment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow and problem resolution.
- Perform other manual labor tasks as assigned by the supervisor to support mill operations.
Required Skills
- Physical stamina and strength to perform repetitive tasks, lift heavy bags (up to 25kg), and stand for extended periods.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
- Basic understanding of workplace safety procedures.
