Key Responsibilities
- Collect and dispose of refuse and waste materials from public bins, streets, parks, and other designated areas.
- Operate and maintain basic sanitation equipment such as brooms, shovels, waste compactors, and refuse carts.
- Perform sweeping, raking, and litter picking activities to maintain cleanliness of public spaces.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of waste into collection vehicles.
- Report any observed hazards, illegal dumping, or maintenance issues to supervisors promptly.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) provided.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure efficient completion of daily tasks.
- Engage with the public courteously and professionally when encountered during duties.
