Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular foot and mobile patrols across designated areas within Oniru Estate to ensure comprehensive coverage.
- Monitor surveillance cameras, access control systems, and alarm systems diligently to detect and prevent security breaches.
- Respond promptly and effectively to alarms, emergencies, and calls for assistance, following established protocols.
- Identify, report, and address suspicious activities, unauthorized persons, or potential threats in a timely manner.
- Document all incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately and comprehensively in official log reports.
- Enforce company policies, safety regulations, and estate rules to maintain a secure and orderly environment.
- Assist in controlling access points, verifying credentials, and managing visitor entry/exit procedures efficiently.
- Collaborate seamlessly with other security personnel, estate management, and relevant authorities to enhance overall security operations.
- Maintain a visible security presence to deter criminal activity, promote public safety, and instill confidence.
- Undertake basic first aid duties as required, with opportunities for additional training provided.
- Escalate critical security issues to superiors immediately for appropriate action.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (minimum 1 year) in a security-related role, preferably in a residential or commercial setting.
- Excellent observational skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to detect subtle irregularities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective reporting and interaction.
- Ability to remain calm, focused, and effective under pressure or during emergency situations.
