Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems and equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
- Assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of new machinery and control systems.
- Conduct precise calibrations and adjustments to ensure optimal system performance and accuracy.
- Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, electrical schematics, and engineering diagrams.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and calibration data.
- Provide technical support and guidance to operational staff as needed.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, environmental regulations, and company policies.
- Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to enhance system reliability and efficiency.
- Order and manage inventory of spare parts and tools required for maintenance and repairs.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as an Engineer Technician or in a similar technical role (minimum 3 years).
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems and components.
- Proficiency in diagnostic tools and testing equipment (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English (German proficiency is a plus).
