We are seeking an exceptionally talented and highly motivated Software Developer with a strong focus on Full Stack development, encompassing both mobile and web applications, to join our innovative team in Blaise, Bristol. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain robust full-stack applications for web and mobile platforms.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other developers to translate requirements into technical specifications and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Develop responsive and intuitive user interfaces using modern front-end frameworks for web applications.
- Build native or cross-platform mobile applications (iOS/Android) ensuring optimal performance and user experience.
- Design and implement scalable RESTful APIs and microservices using appropriate back-end technologies.
- Manage and optimize databases, ensuring data integrity, security, and performance.
- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and performance issues.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating and proposing their adoption where beneficial.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and tools.
- Mentor junior developers and share knowledge within the team.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in at least one modern front-end framework (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
- Strong experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Demonstrable experience in mobile app development (e.g., React Native, Flutter, Swift/Kotlin, or relevant native SDKs).
- Solid understanding and practical experience with back-end languages (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java, C#, Go).
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis).
- Familiarity with version control systems, especially Git.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and asynchronous programming.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
