Key Responsibilities
- Perform various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick) on steel components and structures according to specifications.
- Read and accurately interpret engineering blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine project requirements.
- Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal products and structures using various tools and machinery.
- Inspect welds for defects and ensure they meet quality standards and safety regulations.
- Operate and maintain welding equipment, ensuring proper functionality and safety protocols.
- Conduct quality control checks on finished products to ensure dimensional accuracy and structural integrity.
- Collaborate effectively with the fabrication team, engineers, and project managers to ensure project timelines are met.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Assist in material preparation, cutting, grinding, and finishing tasks as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to optimize efficiency and safety.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in various welding processes (MIG, TIG, MMA/Stick welding).
- Ability to read and interpret complex engineering blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong understanding of metal fabrication techniques and processes.
- Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
