Job Description
Are you ready to be a vital part of a world-class mining operation? AngloGold Ashanti’s Geita Gold Mine is seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team as a Production Worker on our factory line. This full-time, on-site role is critical to the efficient and safe processing of gold ore, ensuring the continuous flow of operations within our state-of-the-art processing plant.
As a Production Worker, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that contribute directly to the production process. This includes operating and monitoring machinery, conducting quality checks, loading and unloading materials, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment according to standard operating procedures.
- Perform routine quality checks on materials and finished products, reporting any discrepancies.
- Load and unload raw materials and finished goods from production lines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Assist with equipment setup, changeovers, and basic troubleshooting as required.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines diligently.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure production targets are met.
- Record production data and complete necessary documentation accurately.
- Participate in regular safety meetings and training sessions.
