Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Transport Coordinator in daily operational planning and execution.
- Schedule and dispatch drivers and vehicles for deliveries and collections, optimizing routes for efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle movements, fuel consumption, and maintenance schedules.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, clients, and internal departments regarding delivery schedules and potential delays.
- Monitor real-time vehicle locations and provide updates as required.
- Help resolve logistical issues and challenges promptly and efficiently.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly transport reports.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Process transport-related documentation, including waybills and delivery notes.
- Support inventory management related to transport and logistics.
