Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet and assist all customers upon entry and throughout their shopping experience.
  • Accurately process sales transactions, returns, and exchanges using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor, including shelves, displays, and fitting rooms.
  • Restock merchandise, ensuring proper product placement and timely replenishment.
  • Assist with inventory management tasks, including receiving shipments, price tagging, and stock counts.
  • Answer customer inquiries regarding products, prices, and store policies with professionalism and accuracy.
  • Actively promote current sales, promotions, and loyalty programs to maximize customer engagement.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve daily sales targets and operational goals.
  • Adhere strictly to all company policies, procedures, and security guidelines to ensure a safe shopping environment.
  • Handle customer complaints or concerns with patience and seek managerial assistance when necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) equivalent.
  • Minimum of 6 months previous experience in a retail, customer service, or hospitality role.
  • Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems and basic computer operations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in local languages (e.g., Ikwerre, Kalabari) in addition to English.
