Key Responsibilities
- Execute all food preparation duties to the highest standards, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish.
- Oversee and manage specific kitchen sections (e.g., Garde Manger, Saucier, Entremetier) as assigned.
- Contribute to menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and innovative culinary techniques.
- Ensure strict adherence to all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards (HACCP principles).
- Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and minimize food waste through efficient preparation and storage practices.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef and other culinary team members to optimize kitchen flow and efficiency.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation at all times.
- Adapt to special dietary requests and create appealing alternatives when necessary.
- Continuously learn and stay updated on industry trends, new recipes, and culinary innovations.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Chef in a professional kitchen environment.
