Career.zycto is seeking a dedicated Full-Time A&R Administrator to join our dynamic team in Beeston, Nottingham. This crucial role acts as the backbone of our Artist & Repertoire (A&R) department, providing comprehensive administrative and operational support to our A&R Managers. You will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth running of all A&R activities, from managing demo submissions and maintaining artist databases to coordinating meetings and assisting with contract documentation. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and log incoming demo submissions, ensuring efficient review processes and maintaining a comprehensive database.
  • Maintain and update extensive artist databases, contact lists, and project trackers with meticulous accuracy.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, conference calls, travel arrangements, and industry events for A&R Managers.
  • Assist in the preparation and collation of contracts, deal memos, and other essential legal and administrative documentation.
  • Conduct thorough market research and compile detailed reports on emerging artists, music trends, and competitor activities.
  • Process invoices, expense reports, and assist with departmental budgeting and financial record-keeping.
  • Act as a key liaison, fostering effective communication between the A&R department, other internal teams, and external industry contacts.
  • Provide general administrative support to the A&R team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and proactive problem-solving.

Required Skills

  • Proven administrative experience, with at least 2 years in a fast-paced office environment.
  • Exceptional organisational, multitasking, and time management abilities with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and experience with database management.
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • High level of discretion, professionalism, and the ability to handle confidential information.
  • A genuine passion for music, a solid understanding of current industry trends, and an interest in artist development.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Music Business, Arts Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Previous experience working directly within the music or entertainment industry, particularly in an A&R or label services capacity.
  • Familiarity with CRM software, project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello), or music-specific platforms.
  • Basic knowledge of music licensing, copyright, and publishing fundamentals.
