Job Description
Are you an experienced and safety-conscious Forklift Operator seeking a challenging yet rewarding role in a dynamic logistics environment? Career.zycto is expanding its operations in Heidelberg, Baden-Württemberg, and we’re looking for dedicated individuals to join our integral warehouse team. This isn’t just about moving boxes; it’s about being the backbone of our operational efficiency, ensuring timely flow of goods, and maintaining impeccable safety standards that protect both our products and our people.
As a Forklift Operator with Career.zycto, you will play a crucial role in our daily success. Your primary responsibility will be the safe and efficient operation of various types of forklifts, including counterbalance and possibly reach trucks, to transport materials throughout our facility. This involves expertly loading and unloading incoming and outgoing shipments, meticulously stacking and organizing goods in designated storage areas, and preparing orders for dispatch. Precision and careful handling are paramount to prevent damage and optimize space utilization within our warehouse.
Beyond just driving, you will be an active contributor to our team. This includes conducting routine pre-operation checks on your equipment, identifying and reporting any maintenance issues promptly, and ensuring your work area remains clean, organized, and free from hazards. You’ll work closely with warehouse staff, inventory controllers, and shipping personnel, contributing to accurate inventory management and seamless order fulfillment processes. Adherence to all company safety policies and local regulations is non-negotiable; your commitment to a secure working environment is as important as your operational prowess.
