Key Responsibilities

  • Perform general cleaning duties, including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors in all office areas, meeting rooms, and common spaces.
  • Clean and sanitise restrooms and replenish supplies (e.g., toilet paper, soap, hand towels).
  • Empty waste bins and dispose of rubbish in designated areas, ensuring proper waste segregation.
  • Clean and maintain kitchenettes, including wiping down counters, sinks, and appliances, and ensuring crockery is clean.
  • Clean glass surfaces, windows (internal), and mirrors.
  • Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and office equipment.
  • Ensure all areas are kept tidy and organised.
  • Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to management.
  • Manage and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are used correctly and stored safely.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations and company cleaning standards.
  • Assist with ad-hoc cleaning tasks as required during special events or unexpected situations.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a cleaner or janitor, preferably in an office or commercial setting.
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies, and their proper usage and storage.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to cleaning.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks.
