Key Responsibilities

  • Assist licensed electricians in the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
  • Carry, hold, and retrieve tools, equipment, and materials as directed by the lead technician.
  • Learn and strictly adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Prepare work sites by cleaning, organizing tools, and ensuring materials are readily available.
  • Perform basic tasks such as measuring, cutting, and pulling wire, and assisting with conduit bending under direct supervision.
  • Support in troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical issues under the guidance of experienced technicians.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of vehicles, tools, and equipment.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance electrical knowledge and skills.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and follow instructions diligently.

Required Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED).
  • Strong willingness and eagerness to learn the electrical trade.
  • Excellent physical stamina and dexterity to handle tools and equipment, and perform demanding tasks.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
  • Reliable transportation to and from job sites in Kendwa, Nungwi.
  • Punctual and dependable with a strong work ethic.
  • Basic understanding of safety principles or a strong commitment to learning and practicing them.
