Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of food and beverages, following detailed instructions from chefs and supervisors.
- Set up event spaces, including tables, chairs, cutlery, crockery, and buffet stations, to specified layouts.
- Serve food and drinks to guests in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Clear tables and event spaces efficiently, managing waste and ensuring cleanliness throughout the event.
- Maintain impeccable hygiene standards in all catering areas, adhering strictly to food safety regulations.
- Support the catering team with general tasks, including washing up, restocking supplies, and preparing basic ingredients.
- Interact positively with guests and colleagues, contributing to a friendly and efficient service environment.
- Assist with the packing down and transportation of catering equipment post-event, ensuring all items are accounted for.
