Key Responsibilities
- Manage all accounting operations including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and cost accounting.
- Prepare and publish timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Coordinate the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, reporting variances.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
- Manage cash flow, treasury operations, and financial risk management.
- Assist with external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to management on financial performance.
- Oversee payroll processing and employee expense management.
- Ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately and in compliance with GAAP.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in a finance or accounting role.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, financial modeling).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Impeccable attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA or ACCA certification.
- Master's degree (MBA or equivalent) in Finance or Accounting.
