Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections of company premises, equipment, and systems to identify and address maintenance needs proactively.
- Conduct minor repairs and preventative maintenance tasks on plumbing, electrical fixtures, carpentry, and general building structures.
- Respond promptly and efficiently to maintenance requests from staff, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Assist with the installation, assembly, and relocation of office equipment and furniture as required.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of common areas, storage rooms, and workspaces, ensuring a safe environment.
- Report major repair requirements, structural issues, or complex system malfunctions to management.
- Ensure strict adherence to all health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
- Manage and maintain an accurate inventory of maintenance tools, equipment, and supplies.
- Coordinate and supervise external service providers for specialized repairs, renovations, or cleaning services.
- Participate in emergency response procedures and drills as part of the company's safety team.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (minimum 2 years) in general building maintenance or a similar role.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry systems.
- Proficiency in using a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong physical stamina and dexterity to perform manual tasks, lift heavy objects, and work in various conditions.
