Key Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, patching, and masking.
- Assist lead painters with applying paint, stains, varnishes, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and sprayers.
- Mix and match paint colors as instructed to achieve desired shades and consistency.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and equipment are properly cared for.
- Protect surrounding areas from paint splatters and damage using drop cloths and masking tape.
- Follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment.
- Perform minor touch-ups and finish work to ensure high-quality results.
