Key Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and components in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues, offering effective and lasting solutions.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on plumbing infrastructure.
- Adhere to all local, state, and national plumbing codes and safety regulations.
- Operate and maintain a variety of tools and equipment common to the plumbing trade.
- Provide clear explanations of services rendered and solutions to clients.
- Manage project timelines, materials, and resources efficiently.
- Participate in on-call rotations for emergency service when required.
- Document work performed, including materials used and hours worked, accurately.
- Mentor junior technicians and assist in their professional development.
- Optionally engage in international plumbing projects, adapting to varied project requirements and standards.
Required Skills
- Journeyman Plumber license (or equivalent certification)
- Minimum 4 years of professional plumbing experience
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical diagrams
- Strong knowledge of plumbing codes and safety standards
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Physical ability to perform demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects, climbing, and working in confined spaces
